update

so its been a while since posting a blog. I have started college and am taking care of my 5 month old baby girl. I get up with her every night to feed and change diapers then have to get up by 7;30 in the morning to take my son to kindergarten. I am going full time to school in with everything else, I think I like making my life stressful. : ) Im taking Anthropology, english 102, Philosophy-ethics, and health and wellness. I absolutely love anthropology but cant seem to grasp a liking for english. ahhh only a few more months left.

Lifes little wonders that keep me happy

  • driving in the country at night with the windows down and the music playing

  • the smell of a newborn baby

  • the look of a man in dirty work pants and a grease stained face

  • dancing in the rain

  • singing out loud to your favorite song

  • getting a late night phone call from someone you love

  • getting a smile from a complete stranger as you pass by

  • putting on a warm sweatshirt fresh out of the dryer
  • watching my dads eyes dance as he laughs
  • seeing the sunrise
  • catching a wonderful sunset
  • drivng to no where in particular
  • meeting up with an old friend
  • small town diners
  • bare feet in thick green grass
  • snow fall on Christmas morning
  • a good friend who walks in when the rest of the world seems to of walked out
  • country fields that roll on forever
  • the hum of a tractor
  • sleeping in
  • staying up late
  • a good cup of coffee
  • pair of jeans that fit perfect
  • clear night sky full of stars that go on forever

life's a roller coaster

Never have I felt so much relief , in the past 2 days my life has finally made a turn for the better. Finally getting to bring my baby home after 3 months of being in the Neonatal intensive Care Unit (NICU). Driving 1 1/2 hours every couple of days just to spent time with my baby girl was a call for a nervous breakdown somewhere down the road. The stress didnt stop there with her being born at 26 weeks gestation , i then get a packet in the mail stating that the Army, after being out for 5 yrs, is calling me back in. *Insert anxiety attack * i call the phone number to state my situation and ask for an exemption on account of extreme hardship. and of course i need to run myself ragged trying to collect all the required paperwork by the week and a half dead line and they take 3 times as long getting back to me. needless to say, i got my baby home and the exemtion, for now , and can finally start enjoying life once again.
